Club Operations

Mission Statement:

“The Johnson School Club of Washington DC seeks to further the professional development and social network of its members in the greater DC metro area through a variety of activities, opportunities and services offered by the Club that address the major business trends in the greater Washington DC area, the United States and the world.”

Goals:

Generate a sense of community

Strengthen relationships

Bring Johnson School alumni together

Organization:

·  President, Vice Presidents and Key Advisors are part of the Board of the Club providing leadership

·  The Board meets periodically (typically once a quarter by phone/in person)

·  The Club President is appointed by the Johnson School. Vice Presidents are appointed upon coordinating specific Club events .

·  The Club will support its goals by scheduling events that support the following:

o  Socializing among the members and their families

o  Selecting thought provoking speakers

o  Enhancing communications with the members 

o   Assisting the Johnson School with Admissions
